Hello There! It’s great to meet you! Where to begin…..
I am a on site hairstylist and make-up artist specializing in bridal services. I have lived here in Navarre, FL for the past 16 years with my beautiful family. I have worked with hundreds of brides over my wonderful career getting them ready for their big day. I LOVE my job! Let me say that again I LOVE my job.
The moment 8 year old Jessica saw her mom’s beauty kit I was done! I was determined to make the beauty world mine one day. I started my first updos at the age of 12 years old. I have certainly came a lot way for sure. A HUGE thank you to those that let me practice on their poor heads. lol
When I was a little girl my mom would take me to her work where I would sweep, take appointments and fill up shampoo bottles. Even as a child I could see how much a cosmetologist could change a person’s self esteem. I wanted to do the same. So when I was old enough to go to beauty school I jumped at the chance to get my dreams started. Of course I had practiced for years and years with all my friends and family. I quickly learned that I really enjoyed the make-up and styling aspect of the artistry more so then coloring and cutting.
I love making you and your friends feel beautiful. I love making you feel loved and heard. I love picking out your faves for your wedding. I just love the entire process from start to finish. My clients call me GlamMother for that very reason.
My artistry can be described as clean, modern, vivid, and with a touch of timeless elegance. My goal for every client is to make sure they feel their absolute loveliest because beauty is for everyone. I encourage my clients to find the beauty in themselves and wear it like a crown.
I am a strong believer in manifesting your dreams. Dream big then go out there and chase them! There is nothing you can’t overcome. I am a survior of abuse and I live each day with purpose. I choose life, love and positivity. My life isn’t perfect but it’s a beautiful one to me and I try to spread goodness in the world. That to me is powerful.
Things I love would include:
My gorgeous children Mathew, Juliet, Joey, Jeslyn, and Jacob. My children have given me the drive to make every single day a opportunity for greatness.
Texas, the Lonestar State where I was born and raising is so very special to me. Every member of my family is there and everyday I have been gone I miss them like crazy. I was blessed with a supportive and loving family that includes grandparents, parents, siblings, neices and nephews. I am also close with my aunts, uncles and cousins. Whenever I go home there are huge parties and my family makes me feel like I never left home.
Dancing to anything and everything. I will break it down at Walmart. I literally don’t care. If you want to dance with me at your session let’s do it! My favorite place to dance though is in my kitchen. We have the best parties there.
Taco Tuesday, it’s taken very seriously in my home. We don’t play when it comes to Taco Day!
Make-up and anything with glitter. I also can’t resist lipstick and if I feel down or blah I usually start with putting some on or buying a new one to feel better.
Summer, is my favorite time of the year. I love swimming, sunbathing, fishing at the pier. Riding jet skis and the pontoon boats. Summer means buying lot’s bathing suits. I have way too many I haven’t even worn yet.
Friendships mean so much to me. I never leave my friends without telling them how much I love them. Life is so precious.
When I am not working you could find me chasing sunrises or sunsets. My son Jacob and I ususally go before school then stop at McDonald’s. It’s our very special tradition.
My favorite clothing usually has either animal print specifically leapard or tye dye. I always say those are my favorite colors.
I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I meet friends everywhere. My mom always said not to talk to strangers but I just truly can’t help it. It’s my thing!
My curious spirit has me constantly researching one thing or another. The world is so big and I want to explore it all. I have been lucky to travel so much and love to immerse myself with the local culture.
I love volunteering with various causes especially when they involves the homeless and children in need.
